Presentation of the project:

BASE-INVEST Ltd. 100%, founded in 2008, is a Hungarian-owned engineering services company providing structural design and optimization, structural engineering and building construction expertise.
Two trainees were recruited and employed under the traineeship programme. Based on our experience over the years, our company and our professionals are well placed to pass on their expertise to students and trainees whom our company wishes to employ on a long-term basis after the end of the traineeship programme.
The trainee contact was one of our expert colleagues, who has been working as a civil engineer in our company since 2016. During the project, he was responsible for assisting, documenting and liaising with the Vocational Training Centre during the work of the 2 main trainees.
In order to increase editorial capacity, tools were needed to run market-leading software and to provide in-house training. The computers to be purchased are therefore more expensive than a PC for traditional office use, but they are essential for the daily work of our trainees, who have been involved in technical drawing, 3D modelling and surveys on various sites, among other things. In addition to the two editing PC configurations, we have also purchased a projector for the theoretical training of our trainees.
In addition to this, we have also purchased 2 office chairs, 2 desks and 2 office containers to ensure that our trainees have the right working and material conditions. Through the project, the trainees have gained significant practical, professional experience in our company, contributing to the acquisition of professional but independent working skills, which, once in the trainees' possession, will contribute significantly to improving their job prospects and future opportunities.

Thanks to the support of the Ministry of National Affairs, the grant awarded to the project was used to purchase equipment and modernise our headquarters. The difficulties caused by the crown virus epidemic have made it necessary to reorganise our work, and the equipment purchased under the project will enable us to do this. Thanks to the project, the lighting system at our headquarters has been upgraded to save energy.

The following equipment was purchased under the project:
- 1 set of Ferroscan PS 300-W concrete scanner
- 1 Original Schmidt Live N digital Schmidt hammer
- 1 ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo
- 1 LG 77" TV set
- 2 PC configurations
- 1 Apple iPad pro
- 3 iPhone SE 64GB
- 12 Kw solar panel system

Our aim is to serve the ever-increasing order volume smoothly and continuously. In order to ensure smooth working conditions, it was necessary to improve working conditions, to which both the investment in real estate and the equipment purchased have contributed greatly.

The project has allowed us to maintain our staffing levels, as it has helped us to acquire the tools to carry out more work processes on our own.
